This privacy policy explains how Furla S.p.A., with registered office in Via Bellaria 3/5, 40068 San Lazzaro di Savena (BO) Italy ("Furla"), in compliance with European Regulation 2016/679 ("GDPR"), processes the personal data of users who access the web page https://www.furlapressdayss21.com/ ("Web Page") through the hyperlink contained in the digital invitation to Furla’s Virtual Press Day.

The access to the Virtual Press Day’s resources may involve the processing of personal data of identified or identifiable natural persons.

a) When are personal data collected?

When you (i) enter your data in the Furla Virtual Press Day’s registration form and (ii) browse the Web Page dedicated to the event.

b) Who controls your personal data?

The data controller is Furla S.p.A. with registered office in Via Bellaria 3/5, 40068 San Lazzaro di Savena (BO), Italy; e-mail: privacy@furla.com ("Data Controller").

c) Which personal data do we collect and for what purposes and under what legal basis do we process them?

With your consent, the Data Controller may collect and process your name, surname and e-mail address to register your participation in Furla’s Virtual Press Day and allow you to access to the resources available on the Web Page (“registration data”). By entering your data in the registration form you consent to the processing of your registration data for these purposes.

In addition, the computer systems used to operate the corporate Website may acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols: IP addresses or domain names of computers and terminals used by users, addresses in URI/URL notation and other parameters relating to the operating system and the user's computer environment (“navigation data”). These data are necessary for the safe and efficient use of the Web Page and processed only to check its correct functioning.

d) Cookies and other tracking systems

Cookies are not used for user profiling, nor are used other tracking methods.

Technical cookies’ use is instead strictly limited to what is necessary for the safe and efficient navigation on the Web Page.

Your personal data are processed electronically and protected with appropriate security, technical and organizational measures.

f) How long do we keep your personal data?

Your personal data will be stored in a database located in the European Union for a period not exceeding six months, after which they will be deleted or made anonymous.

Browsing data may be stored only temporarily and will not be retained for more than seven days (except in the event of a criminal investigation by any Judicial Authority).

g) Are personal data mandatory or optional and what are the possible consequences if you do not provide such data?

Your registration is required. Otherwise, you will not be able to access the resources available on the Furla Virtual Press Day Web Page.

h) How do we share the personal data we collect, how do our global services work, and with whom outside the EEA may your personal data be shared?

Your data may be communicated to external suppliers located in the EEA area, which provide communication services, PR and creative agencies, which operate as data processors; with the exception of external suppliers providing consultancy services that require a wide margin of operational autonomy and the Public Authorities that may require access to the data, which, however, will process your data as independent data controllers.

With regard to your possible attendance to the Showroom’s virtual tour led by Furla’s staff in videoconference, we inform you that Furla will not communicate your personal data (as identified in point c) above) to Zoom Video Communication service provider, which therefore operates as an independent data controller in relation to the processing of any personal data provided by users when accessing the online videoconferencing platform. i) How can you exercise your rights to privacy?
